Batu Batu Dive

We are a PADI 5-star Dive Resort located on Long Beach with a range of courses and programs that suit anyone from those who have never dived before to the experienced certified diver.

What are you likely to see?

Dive map.jpg

We have some beautiful dive sites here on Tengah Island which are home to a huge biodiversity of marine life which we aim to conserve and protect.

When diving we have good chances of seeing a wide variety of marine life. We cater generally more to macro diving with a high likelihood of seeing animals such as nudibranch, stingrays and a huge abundance of reef fish. We are also home to beautiful coral formations, some so large that they reach from around 6 metres to the surface. If you are very lucky you may be able to spot bigger creatures like bumphead parrotfish, turtles and black-tip reef sharks.

The 15 dive sites on and surrounding Tengah Island are primarily fringing reefs which range from 2 to 20 metres with exciting topography and little current.

We believe that scuba diving plays a huge role in sustainable tourism and can be used as a tool for positive change. By encouraging eco-diving practices, promoting conservation efforts and inspiring respect for the underwater world, we hope that guests who dive with us will leave with a renewed admiration for the ocean.

Batu Batu Dive also has international marine biology students and graduates join us for a period of 10 weeks to complete their PADI Divemaster Course and assist with conservation efforts. We hope that in completion of this internship the next generation of PADI Professionals will be motivated to support these goals and pass them on.
